The GENESIS-6s-BM5-IXO-W is a 5MP (16:9 ratio) IP67 day/night IR bullet style Starlight camera. This camera has a 2.7-13.5mm motorised F1.6 Lens with a 80m Smart IR viewing distance. Smart IR ensures the camera compensates the IR beam to reduce and prevent overexposure of an object as it nears the camera.
The GENESIS-6s-BM5-IXO-W at default setting is HD-CVI 5MP@ 25fps (PAL) HDCVI video format and can be switched to 4MP AHD or HD-TVI @25fps or CVBS if required. Switching of the video format can be performed by the cameras' dip switch or an XVR model which can accept the cameras' default resolution. This ultimately allows the camera to be compatible with a range of 3rd party recorders, alongside the majority of previous generation IC Realtime BNC recorders.
Super Adapt technology can accurately detect if the scene is indoor, outdoor or under wide dynamic range, and automatically adjusts the image settings to match the actual scene. It can avoid overexposure under intense light and improve the brightness of dark area to capture clearer details of targets, allowing users enjoy image performance upgrade in various monitoring scenarios.
In addition, HDCVI systems allow the re-use of existing cables as it is compatible with both coaxial cable and UTP. The latest HDCVI standard allows for extremely long transmission distances without any loss of quality. It supports distances of up to 700m (4MP) via coaxial cable and up to 300m via UTP cable using Baluns.
Utilising HDCVI technology and the built in microphone, this camera can transmit audio back via a single coax cable back to the recorder. Compatible recorder required for down the coax audio please ask our support team for more information.
