IC Realtime 64CH 12MP H.265 2U 8xSATA NVR with RAID
The STORM-4s-864 is a H.265, 64 Channel Enterprise RAID Network Video Recorder (NVR). It incorporates a powerful Embedded Linux Quad Core Processor providing 12 MegaPixel (Including 4K) resolution support and a incoming recording capacity of 320Mbps. Incorporated are a number of smart analytic functions which can utilized with smart AI IP Cameras to achieve and display useful information such as People Counting statistics, Heat Map images and crowd & vehicle density values.
Other smart searching functions are available for Facial Detection and Recognition, IVS & SMD events, and vehicle information such as vehicle ANPR, Allow/Block Lists, type and colour records. The development of these features enables operators to respond quickly and reduce the time spent searching for such events.
*Please note, the NVR requires specific models of IPC connected in order to gain above functionalities.
The STORM-4s-864 is housed in a 2U rack mount case with 8 SATA III Ports and 2 x 1GB Network Ports. It can facilitate 16 Alarm Inputs, 8 Alarm (Relay) Outputs, 2 x HDMI and 1x VGA Video Outputs. It supports backup methods via USB 3.0, eSATA, & Network/Web.
The STORM-4s-864 also supports RAID 0/1/5/10 offering a balance between storage performance, capacity and integrity, making it ideal for mission critical installations of up to 64 IP Cameras.
The STORM-4s-864 can decode H.265 Compression (High Efficiency Video Coding), and related enhanced versions of his codec, as standard, H.265 was developed to improve HDD storage requirements and reduce bandwidth consumption for new higher resolutions such as 4K and 12MP. For example, at an identical level of visual quality the H.265 codec enables video to be compressed to a file about half the size (or half the bit rate) of H.264.
The STORM-4s-864 is provided license free, ONVIF Compatible and supports various 3rd party IP Camera Vendors.

Smart H.265+
Smart H.265+ is the optimized implementation of the H.265 codec that
uses a scene-adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI,
flexible multi-frame reference structure and intelligent noise reduction to
deliver high-quality video without straining the network. Smart H.265+
technology reduces bit rate and storage requirements by up to 70%
when compared to standard H.265 video compression
Smart Fan
The NVR is equipped with a smart fan to achieve high cooling
efficiency. It automatically adjusts fan speed according to CPU and
ambient temperature. The fan is long-lasting and low noise, reducing
maintenance costs and improving the user experience
Fisheye Dewarping
Fisheye dewarping solves the problem of distortion in the circular
panoramic view. The NVR offers various dewarping modes for different
installations and configurations that enhance the video, in both live or
playback modes. Each dewarping mode offers options to adjust each
scene.
ANPR
